ICE, William Jr. -
was born in Defiance county, July 9, 1858; is the son of
William and Charity (Morris) Ice; the former born November 17, 1822,
died February 5, 1877; the latter born March 14, 1833. They were
settlers of this county in 1876. He is a resident of Auglaize township.
His sisters and brothers are: John W., born December 9, 1849;
Elizabeth, February 22, 1852, died March 3, 1871; Alice (Haver), born
March 25, 1854, died August 18, 1860; Mary V. (Giltz), June 12, 1860;
Frank P., June 17, 1865; Maggie, September 18, 1867; Ida A., March 5,
1870; Henry I., January 29, 1873; Charles P., February 19, 1875.
William Ice, sr., was in the Union service during the Rebellion; and
five of his brothers. Mr. Ice is a farmer, and his postoffice address
is Junction, Paulding county, Ohio.
INSELMANN, Henry Frederick
-
settled in this country in 1875; was born in Germany, October 1, 1843.
His father, Conrad Inselmann, born in 1799, died in January, 1875; his
mother, Elizabeth (Hines) Inselmann, died in 1849. February 4, 1877, he
was married to Clara Pracht, who was born in 1860, and died November
16, 1877. Her parents were Lewis and Wilamine (Sharkow) Pracht; they
settled here in 1855. Mr. Inselmann is a farmer and stock raiser.
